How To Not Interfere With Good Design
Start With Style
Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to decorate a whole room at one time. A piece at a time will give you good perspective on which item to select next. Start with a plan on which style you would like to do and add pieces as you go.
Measuring the room area is very helpful in choosing the right size of the furniture you will need or how many stools you may want to place around the island. For figuring out the proper table size for an area, place a template or even cardboard or newspaper on the floor to equal the size of the table and allow about two feet for the chairs. Bring in any swatches, wood samples, paint samples, or even window treatment fabric when choosing your colors.
