Spotlight On: Catskills
Consisting of a large variety and sizes of kitchen islands, servers, kitchen carts, pie safes, and microwave carts, these durable domestic hardwoods are harvested in the heart of the Catskill mountains of New York. All the species that are used are self-sustaining and non-endangering. Sawn boards are air dried then kiln dried for weeks, reducing moisture content down to 6-8%.
The rich appearance and characteristic grains are the purest expression of nature. This furniture constructed of hardwood is authentic, versatile, and durable, it can last a lifetime and beyond to become tomorrows heirloom. There are many different features on the islands and carts such as towel racks, spice racks, doors, drawers, drop leaf counter tops, and much more. Cutting boards are available as well.
